Population Problem in Bangladesh

Population problem is the burning question of Bangladesh. In fact it is the number one problem of our country. Bangladesh is a small country. Her total area is 1,47,570 square kilometers and her population is almost thirteen crores. About 1500-1600 people live in one square mile. So, the population of our country is indeed very dense. Such adense population has been a great problem for us. Moreover every year more than two million people are being added to our population. It has not the position of explosion. So the problem is now out of control.
The rate of the growth of population in Bangladesh is very high 36 lacs children are born every year. The number of yearly death is 13 lacs. Therefore, there is an increase of 23 lacs people every years. If the population increases in this way, we can imagine what the condition of the country will be after 20 years.
The growth of population at such a high rate creates difficulties in very sphere of life. It creates problem of food, clothings, accommodation, health and education. If the population is allowed to grow in this way, people shall find no place to live in and they will have to starve. The whole nation will suffer the consequences.
We, therefore, should learn and know all about this great problem. We should be of the serious consequences of rapid growth of population.
Each family Will bi planned. A family should not consist of more than two children. Such a family is an ideal and happy family.
To check the growth of population top most importance should be attached to education of the masses. If the entire Population are educated, there would develop a sense of nation awakeness and wide outlook among them.
We can also export man to other countries to remove the population crisis. To remove this problem, the lesson of self-reliance is particularly needed for us.
There are various ways to stop the high birth-rate. Each and every family must lead life in a planned way. Early marriage should bi banned. There should be wide publicity about the family planning measures. The low-class people should bi made aware of a minimum standard of living. This will inspire them to keep the size of their family small. Thus all possible steps should be taken without any delay to solve the population problem of our country. We can also export man to other countries to remove the population crisis. To remove this problem, the lesson of self-reliance is particularly needed for us.
